    spacious room
    delicious breakfast
    dim lighting

Very spacious attic room with excellent WiFi and spotlessly clean vibes. Delicious breakfast options made for a great start to every day.

The lighting in the room felt a bit too dim. Not enough brightness for my liking. Navigating the steep stairs to the attic was a bit of a workout, which might not suit everyone.

Had bright and gorgeous room, absolutely excellent breakfasts, you guys rock!

The hotel was situated in the central location within walking distance of the Harbour. Cafe Rusty Shears located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

Thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful and gorgeous rooms.

The welcoming staff made it a pleasurable place to stay. The provided service was exceptional. Location: the hotel was close enough to all main sights and restaurants/cafes, Close to town centre, and restaurants/cafes. What's more, it was 5 mins drive from West Cliff Beach.

    clean room
    great breakfast
    friendly staff
    tricky parking
    steep stairs

Stayed at argyle house for a night and it was great. Room was super clean and tidy with good amenities like tea and coffee and a smart tv with netflix. Loved the breakfast too, so many choices from continental to full english. Bill was really friendly and cute. Perfect location for exploring whitby, just a short walk to everything.

Only downside was that parking can be a bit tricky depending on when you arrive. The stairs to the room are quite steep.

    thoughtful hospitality
    cozy retreat
    steep stairs
    challenging ascent
    early check-in

Check-in was seamless early in the morning, and the owner surprised my partner by keeping our friend's arrival a secret, showcasing thoughtful hospitality. The attic room provided a unique charm, though the ascent was challenging. Nonetheless, it was a cozy retreat. Breakfast was a highlight-especially the fresh pastries and perfectly cooked eggs to cater to my partner's preferences. While the stay was good, the steep stairs were a notable downside.

Couldn't recommend more for a city break.

Charming room, good breakfast, with a perfect location just a short walk from all major attractions, and the added convenience of free off-site parking makes it a top choice for weekend travelers.

    Not a single issue.

Big room with a tv and Netflix. Ensuite shower was lovely and very clean. Plenty of tea and coffee stuff, and a nice desk area. There's heating and an iron. Breakfast had great choices, like full English or continental. Staff were super nice and helpful.
